Original Shell Oil Tin Sign. (Single sided)

Condition

Age related wear and paint loss, consistent with age and use. Some slight bending at certain points, and rust pitting, mainly on the extremities, but nothing to detract from this awesome piece of motoring memorabilia!!

Additional Information This is one for the Serious collector!! This tin metal sign (NOT ENAMEL) is probably one of the rarest of all Shell signs out there. There is little known about this sign, but probably only a handful are still in existence. The font design gives it an Art Deco feel, so probably dates from the 1930's/40's. The Risqué "play on words" also adds to its striking appeal. There appears to be a registration mark in the bottom right corner 301? but not all the text is visable
